The Role

• Permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week), available immediately.
• We are based in Anjou and are looking for an experienced, energetic, and responsible Class 3 driver/delivery person to use a 26-foot truck provided by the company to cover the Greater Montreal area.
• Reporting to the warehouse manager, the driver/delivery person will be responsible for loading and unloading merchandise onto the company truck and delivering it to clients reliably, safely, and efficiently.
• The delivery driver will make trips of varying lengths (typically 10 to 25 km each) from our warehouse in Anjou (Montreal), during standard industrial hours (6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday), 40 hours per week, with the possibility of occasional overtime.

Experience and training required:

• Experience in industrial product delivery
• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving a 26-foot truck
• Valid Class 3 driver’s license
• Certifications an asset: forklift, aerial work platform/snowboard

Responsabilités :

• Planning deliveries with warehouse colleagues
• Loading and unloading merchandise carefully
• Adhering to delivery schedules and notifying customers of potential delays
• Following up with customers to verify equipment needs: unloading platform, available forklift, etc.
• Signing delivery slips
• Securing loads and driving safely and economically
• While on the road, the driver-delivery persona reflects the company’s professionalism
• Managing truck maintenance and related equipment
• Performing all other related tasks.
